How to Renew your Membership in 5 easy steps

Your membership is valid for 1 full year (Same as the financial year ie July 1 of the current year to June 30 of the following year).
Our Membership renewals take place between mid-May and July 30.  If you are a current AABCAP Member you will receive a renewal notice via email.  Please be mindful that if  you have not received your email by JUNE 15 to contact us.
We have simplified the process of renewal for Full or Associate membership of AABCAP, you now have the option of providing a Current Level of a Membership Certificate from PACFA or other organisation that meets the AABCAP/PACFA  minimum requirement of Professional Development and Supervision. (For a list of approved organisations Click here.) Copies of Indemnity Insurance must still be provided.  Please refer to our Membership Renewal Form 2017 – 2018.
Pause… breathe deeply… and be mindful (right view, right thoughts, right speech…)
Step 1:   Print and read through the current Membership renewal form ( 2017 – 2018 AABCAP Renewal form ).
Step 2:   Complete the form in full and gather all the required documentation.
Step 3:   Remember to keep a copy of your renewal form and all relevant documentation for your own records.
Pause….Breathe….Smile.
Step 4:   Scan and Send your renewal form. Remember to provide all the required documentation relevant to your level of membership (refer to the checklist on the renewal form ) this may include:
  • Current Level of a Membership Certificate from PACFA or approved organisation that meets the AABCAP/PACFA  minimum requirement of Professional Development and Supervision.
    OR…
  • Evidence of Supervision hours signed by Supervisor or members of Supervision group
  • Evidence of Professional Development
AND
  • Evidence of Current Insurance policy
  • Evidence of payment
Step 5:  Send your renewal to us via email or post…  and give yourself a compassionate hug.
It will take between 2 – 4  weeks to process your membership renewal.  Over this time, if we have any questions we will contact you directly by email or phone.  Once your renewal has been processed your AABCAP certificate of membership and invoice will be emailed to you.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
